This paper is concerned with the study of electromagnetically induced transparency and Autler-Townes splitting phenomena in a four-level V-type superconducting system derived from two coupled superconducting charge qubits. In the first part, the authors present a theoretical description and gain the energy spectrum. Next, using the density matrix formalism, they establish the general analytic expression of the first-order matrix element related to the probe-field absorption. Numerical simulations are provided in the final part.
