Local rings of embedding codepth 3: a classification algorithm (Q2345725)

Let \(Q\) be a regular local ring and \(I\) be an ideal of \(Q\). The codepth of \(Q/I\) is defined the length of the minimal free resolution of \(Q/I\). In the paper under review the authors describe the Macaulay2 package CodepthThree. They consider a local ring \(Q/I\) with codepth at most 3 and, by using the package CodepthThree, compute a few cohomological invariants of \(Q/I\). In this way, they implement an algorithm for classifying the local ring \(Q/I\).
