The famous Hirzebruch \(\chi_y\)-genus has an interesting feature that the coefficients of the Taylor expansion of \(\chi_y\)-genus at \(y=-1\) have explicit expressions called \(-1\)-phenomena. In this well-witten and interesting paper, the author extends this \(-1\)-phenomena to the pluri-case and the case of elliptic genus. Some interesting applications are also given.
