In this paper the author discusses homotopy equivalences of rational points on an algebraic variety by theory of simplicial homotopies in the Grothendieck's étale site under the absolute Galois action. Several results on these homotopy equivalences, some of which involve Grothendieck's anabelian geometry, are then obtained.
