Fantappiè's ``final relativity'' and deformations of Lie algebras (Q2347248)

This article deals with the life and work of the Italian mathematician Luigi Fantappiè (1901--1956), whose main claim to fame is having proved the rigidity of the real semisimple Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{so}(4,1)\) in 1954 in connection with his investigations in general relativity [\textit{L.
