The authors prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the functional equation \(|| f(x+y)||=||f(x)+f(y)||\) under the assumption that the domain of \(f\) is an arbitrary group. The case of an abelian group was considered earlier by \textit{Y. Dong} [ibid. 86, No. 3, 269--277 (2013; Zbl 1284.39027)].
