The author proves that the space of directed paths on the \(k\)-skeleton of the \(n\)-cube is homotopy equivalent to the nerve of a certain category of flags of finite sets. This calculation is useful to understand the computer-scientific behaviour of \(n\) copies of a PV program runnning in parallel and sharing at most \(k\) common resources.
