This paper deals with self-adjoint nonlinear eigenvalue problems defined on an infinite half-line. As redundant conditions, the authors take most nonlocal conditions specified by a Stieltjes integral. The original singular problem is approximated by a problem on a finite interval. Now, the properties of this problem are examined, and a numerical method that solves it is given.
