This paper deals with the study of the free energy of a ferromagnetic \(p\)-dimensional domain in the \(n\)-dimensional Euclidean space, where \(1\leq p< n\). This is essentially done by studying the nonconvex classical microenergy for a bounded domain in \({\mathbb R}^n\) in relationship with techniques from asymptotic analysis.
