Korovkin theory for cone-valued functions (Q2358782)

The author establishes a Korovkin type approximation result for equicontinuous nets of positive operators, for which the concept of locally convex cones along with illustrations is initially elucidated. Then, suitable systems of neighbourhoods are considered to introduce varied subcones. The generalization from locally convex vector spaces to locally convex cones is made to construct a Korovkin type approximation theorem.
