Presentation of an improved CORDIC ( COordinate Rotation DIgital Computer) algorithm for the elementary Jacobi rotations of a singular value decomposition computer. By replacing two of four CORDIC processors by an arrangement of adders, hardware costs or computing time may be reduced by 50 \%.
