The author investigates the oscillatory properties of the equation \(u''+g(t,u')+f(t,u)=0\), where \(f:J_ 0\times I_ 0\to R\), \(g:J_ 0\times I_ 1\to R\) and \(J_ 0\), \(I_ 0\) and \(I_ 1\) are open intervals in \(R\). Under certain conditions on \(f\) and \(g\), he shows that every solution of the equation oscillates.
