The aim of this paper is to find a geometry for exceptional Lie groups \(E_ 6\), \(E_ 7\) and \(E_ 8\), especially symmetric spaces which play the same role as the Cayley plane for the group \(F_{4(-25)}\). On this way the projective planes in the wider sense are studied and classified.
