The authors relate singularities of differential equations to ``parallel translations'' in differential geometry. They restrict themselves to first order differential operators on one side, and to the so-called ``\(\mu\)-adic'' singularities on the other. They also deal with the case of the Dirac operator on a Riemannian manifold.
