The ablation transpiration cooling control process is considered. The Stefan-Signorini problem for the one-dimensional linear heat equation is studied. The Rothe approximation method is used for the resolution of the considered problem. Existence and uniqueness of the approximation problem and the convergence of the Rothe approximation scheme are proved. These results are used for the proof of the existence of a solution to the Stefan-Signorini problem. Numerical results are presented.
