    The author studies an additive overlapping Schwarz algorithm for semi-linear parabolic problems in the plane, discretized with the backward Euler method in time and a Galerkin finite element approximation in space. The linear system arising at each time step is solved by a one-level additive Schwarz algorithm and the main result of the paper shows that the convergence rate of the proposed Schwarz algorithm depends on the inverse of the subdomain size. The paper does not include numerical results and it lists 9 references.
