The authors compare some so-called generalized types of limits and differentiability, namely \(C\)-limit, \(M\)-limit, \(L\)-limit and the corresponding differentiability. They present a lot of examples. In the fifth and sixth sections they prove approximation theorems using generalized polynomials.
