The aim of the present paper is measuring the aberrancy of a curve, which provides a measure of non-circularity of it. Basically, it is defined by \(\mathcal{A}=\frac{1}{3}\frac{d\rho}{ds}\) where \(\rho\) is the radius of curvature and \(s\) is arc length. The authors give five other definitions, noting that the factor \(\frac{1}{3}\) is not certain and in various definitions of the concept of aberrancy it takes various values, but the quantity \(\frac{d\rho}{ds}\) is the key and appears in all definitions.
