Memorized discrete systems and time-delay (Q2374260)

This monograph is devoted to the study of discrete dynamical systems with memory. It gives a comprehensive presentation of methods that have been developed for time-delay systems which can be discretized into the memorized discrete dynamical systems. The main issues are: memorized linear discrete systems, memorized nonlinear discrete systems, discretization of time-delay systems, periodic flows in time-delay systems, time-delayed Duffing oscillator. This monograph consists of five chapters. The first chapter briefly discusses solutions and stability in memorized linear discrete systems. In Chapter 2, other stability and bifurcations of fixed points in memorized nonlinear discrete systems are discussed. In Chapter 3, discretization methods of time-delay nonlinear systems are presented. Semianalytical methods for periodic motions in time-delay nonlinear dynamical systems are presented. In final Chapter 5, bifurcations trees of periodic motions to chaos in time-delayed Duffing oscillator are discussed. The bibliography contains 20 items and does not serve as a good basis for understanding main results of the book.
