\textit{K. L. Duggal} and \textit{A. Bejancu} [Lightlike submanifolds of semi-Riemannian manifolds and applications. Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers (1996; Zbl 0848.53001)] studied the lightlike hypersurfaces of a semi-Riemannian manifold, by using the notion of non-degenerate screen distribution. By using the same method, the author studies semi-parallel light-like hypersurfaces of indefinite Kenmotsu manifold. Also, under certain conditions, the non-existence of totally contact umbilical hypersurfaces of indefinite Kenmotsu manifold is proved.
