An \(n \times n\) complex matrix \(A\) is called an H-matrix if and only if there exists a positive diagonal matrix \(D\) such that \(AD\) is strictly diagonally dominant. In this paper, two new iterative methods to identify a given complex matrix as a H-matrix are presented. These methods are always convergent in finite iterative steps for H-matrices, and the number of iterations is fewer than that of the known methods. A corresponding non-parameter method for irreducible matrices is also provided. Several numerical examples are given.
