The authors study properties of quasi-finite CW complexes. Their main results state that wedges of quasi-finite complexes are quasi-finite, that joins of quasi-finite complexes are quasi-finite, and that two quasi-finite complexes are equivalent over the class of paracompact spaces if and only if they are equivalent over the class of compact metric spaces.
