This book is a collection of papers on biographies, histories, studies, cultural discussions, etc. of women mathematicians in the last two centuries. It consists of three parts. In the first part, groups of women mathematicians are presented in a historical and cultural aspect. There are articles on the contribution of women at Girton College 1870--1940; women pioneers in American mathematics before 1940 together with some biographies; a tribute to Polish women in mathematics -- Anna Zofia Krygowoka, Zofia Szmydt, Helena Rasiowa and others; American women in mathematics at doctoral classes between 1940--1959; black women in mathematics studying and working in the USA; notable women in the Missouri Section of the MAA (Mathematical Association of America); the Krieger-Nelson Prize Lectureship for outstanding research by women of the Canadian mathematical community. Finally, some recent interviews with ten women mathematicians given in the period 2013--2016 for the Association for Women in Mathematics Newsletter are outlined. The second part of the book deals with biographies of some women mathematicians being pioneers in different branches of mathematics in the last two centuries, as Florence Nightingale, Constance Marks, Emmy Noether, Mina Rees, Gertrude Cox, Norma Hernandez. In the third part, the achievements of women mathematicians in education is introduced for the last two centuries, as for example teaching geometry in women colleges in the USA; interviews with course designers; the presentation of the EDGE program established in 1998; the presentation of the Daughters of Hypatia dance performance. The book is very interesting and can serve for the promotion of more women in mathematics. The articles of this volume will be announced individually.
