The author studies a Banach structure connected to a semi-field with one element introduced in [\textit{A. Connes}, Contemp. Math. 546, 83--113 (2011; Zbl 1245.13015)]. The character spectrum is calculated and an analog of the Gelfand-Naimark Theorem is proved. A draft of the paper is available at \url{arXiv:1606.00328}.
