Homogenization of parabolic problem with nonlinear transmission condition (Q2406525)

This is an excellently written paper, combining multiscale analysis, PDE arguments and numerical simulations. The main non-standard feature of the model is the structure of the transmission condition. Interestingly, the well-posedness of the microscopic model is handled using tools involving the topological degree of Leray-Schauder. Numerical results illustrate the behavior of the upscaled model (derived via two-scale convergence arguments).
