On sums of averages of generalized Ramanujan sums (Q2407625)

In this paper, the author studies distribution properties of summatory functions arising from certain generalizations of the Anderson-Apostol type sums. By reducing to completely multiplicative and completely additive functions, the author obtains a variety of new formulas and relations for such sums. There are also additional applications to weight functions involving the gamma function, Bernoulli polynomials and the greatest common divisor of two integers. This is a nice paper which makes another welcome contribution to the theory and generalization of Ramanujan sums.
