In the present paper, the authors answer and study the following questions for ideals with pure resolutions. Question 1. Let \(I\) be a homogeneous ideal. What is the relationship between the Boij-Söderberg coefficients of \(I\) and \(S/I\)? Question 2. Let \(I\) be a homogeneous ideal and \(\mu\) a \(k\)-form. How do the Boij-Söderberg coefficients of \(S/{\mu I}\) evolve as \(k\) changes?
