The paper deals with the study of a new kind of Bernstein-Kantorovich type operators. Some fundamental approximation results are given for the operatores. The results consist of -- a uniform convergence estimate for this modified -- some direct estimates, which involve the asymptotic-type results, -- some numerical examples which show the relevance of the results are considered.
