Motivated by $L_p$-intersection bodies defined by Haberl and Ludwig, and the mixed intersection bodies defined by Leichtweiß, the authors introduce the $L_p$-mixed intersection bodies. Inequalities for the $q$-dual volume sum of $L_p$-mixed intersection bodies are established.
