The main goal of this paper is to show that the simultaneous grafting of a complex projective structure on a (closed, connected, higher genus) surface with quasi-Fuchsian holonomy along a multicurve can be performed by a sequence of one bubbling and one debubbling. This generalizes a theorem of \textit{G. Calsamiglia} et al. [Geom. Topol. 18, No. 1, 379--446 (2014; Zbl 1286.30031)], where the special case of grafting along a single simple curve was handled.
