This paper gives a propositional reformulation of the fixed-point problem posed by \textit{A. Gupta} and \textit{N. Belnap} in [The revision theory of truth. Cambridge, MA: MIT Press (1993; Zbl 0858.03010)], using the stipulation logic of \textit{A. Visser} [``Semantics and the liar paradox'', in: D. Gabbay et al. (eds.), Handbook of philosophical logic. Vol. IV: Topics in the philosophy of language. Dordrecht: D. Reidel Publishing Co. Synth. Libr. 167, 617--706 (1989; Zbl 0869.03001)]. After presenting a solution for clones of three-valued operators that include the constant functions, the maximal three-valued clones with constants that have the fixed-point property are determined. Different characterizations of them are given.
