This paper is a sequel to Part I [J. Inst. Math. Jussieu 6, No. 4, 639--688 (2007; Zbl 1126.22008)] by the same authors. In the paper under review, the authors use the formalism of parabolic induction and restriction for \(M^t(G)\) in their earlier paper to construct explicit projective generators and to compute the center of \(M^t(G)\). As an application, they obtain an algebraic proof of the Plancherel isomorphism.
