The paper deals with the study of the performance of the lexicographic heuristics in multi-attribute decision making. Upper bounds for the expected loss of the DEBA (Deterministic-Elimination-By-Aspects) lexicographic heuristics are obtained, improving previous results in literature and extending the cases in which the DEBA provides a good performance under the assumed cognitive limitations.
