Aluffi torsion-free ideals (Q2428083)

This paper studies the Aluffi torsion-freeness of \(I/J\) for a pair of ideals \(J \subseteq I\) in the case when \(I\) is the Jacobian ideal of \(J\), and \(J\) is the ideal of 2-minors of a \(2 \times n\) matrix of linear form in a polynomial ring or \(J\) is the edge ideal of a graph. Sufficient conditions for when the pair \(I/J\) is Aluffi torsion-free are given.
