The author generalizes \textit{E. Paltanea}'s result [``A representation of a sequence of integrals'', Gaz. Mat. Ser. B 11, 419--421 (2003)] by obtaining the complete asymptotic expansion of the sequence \(\int^1 f(x^n)dx\), on \([0,1]\) and \(n\geq1\).
