This paper studies tropicalizations of hypersurfaces over a field with an arbitrary valuation in any group and proves the analogue of Kapranov's theorem [\textit{M. Einsiedler, M. Kapranov} and \textit{D. Lind}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 601, 139--157 (2006; Zbl 1115.14051)] for this situation.
