Consider a class of standard LTI systems \(S:=(A,B,C)\) with static output feedback \(u=Ky\). The paper presents a necessary and sufficient condition for the eigenvalue assignment by the gain matrix \(K\) for a particular form of the systems \(S\). This result is further extended on a bilinear form of the systems \(S\).
