In continuation of their paper [Math. Notes 90, No. 1, 94--101 (2011); translation from Mat. Zametki 90, No. 1, 104--112 (2011; Zbl 1264.47064)], the authors obtain applications of the fixed point index of a nonlinear operator in a Menger probabilistic normed (\(PN\)-)space. They also discuss existence of solutions for a class of a differential equations in a complete Menger \(PN\)-space.
