A generalization of a theorem of Ore (Q2436711)

The authors extend some results known for algebraic numbers field to other types of field extensions. More precisely, let \((K,v)\) be a discrete rank one valued with valuation ring \(R\). Let \(L/K\) be a finite extension such that the integral closure \(S\) of \(R\) in \(L\) is a finitely generated \(R\)-module. Under some hypotheses, the authors obtain explicitly a \(R\)-basis for \(S\). The description of this basis requires many technical definitions and notations. The paper ends by many illustrative examples.
