Summary: I give another proof of the geometric Satake equivalence of \textit{I. Mirković} and \textit{K. Vilonen} [Ann. Math. (2) 166, No. 1, 95--143 (2007; Zbl 1138.22013)] over a separably closed field. Over a not necessarily separably closed field, I obtain a canonical construction of the Galois form of the full \(L\)-group.
