Consider a log canonical trivial fibration for which the general fibre is a rational curve of Cartier index \(r\). It was expected that \(12r\) would provide a bound on the denominators of the moduli part of its canonical bundle formula. In the paper under review it is shown that such a bound cannot even be polynomial in \(r\) and, moreover, it is proven that even locally these denominators depend quadratically on \(r\).
