Hybrid mountain pass homoclinic solutions of a class of semilinear elliptic PDEs (Q2445551)

The authors use variational gluing arguments to prove the existence of solutions that join different types of critical points (e.g. minima and mountain pass) for equations \[ -\Delta u +F_u(x,u) = 0, \;\;\;x\in \mathbb{R}^n \] where \(F\) is periodic in all its variables.
