The paper gives a remarkable contribution to state BL-algebras giving necessary and sufficient conditions to their subdirect irreducibility. Then subdirectly irreducible state-morphism algebras are completely characterized. Moreover the generators of varieties of state-morphism algebras are studied and the general results are applied to some special cases.
