The incomplete second Appell hypergeometric functions (Q2451470)

In a recent paper, \textit{H. M. Srivastava} et al. [Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 23, No. 9, 659--683 (2012; Zbl 1254.33004)], introduced two new incomplete Pochhammer symbols, in terms of quotients of incomplete and complete gamma functions. They also introduced and investigated the generalized incomplete hypergeometric functions by means of these symbols. Motivated by the above notions and results, the author introduces the incomplete second Appell hypergeometric functions and studies the connections with the incomplete Gauss hypergeometric functions, the incomplete gamma functions, and the complementary error functions. Some finite summation formulas are also presented.
