The authors study the simultaneous homogenisation and fast reaction asymptotics for a weakly coupled system of Hamilton-Jacobi equations. They discover the occurrence of initial layers for the case of unequal initial data and prove the rate of convergence of the \(\epsilon\)-dependent solutions to the matched asymptotics solution.
