The system of exponentials \(E(\lambda)= e^{i\lambda_nt}\), \(n= 0,\pm 1,\dots\) (where \(\lambda_n= n+\delta_n)\) in \(L_p\) was considered by many authors. This paper proves analogs of these results in \(L_p\) when the sequence \(\{\delta_n\}\) has bounded variation.
