Let \(T\)-FPS be the category of fuzzy \(T\)-proximity spaces with proximally continuous maps (\(T\) a continuous triangular norm) as defined by \textit{K. A. Hashem} and \textit{N. N. Morsi} in [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 127, No.~3, 247--264 (2002; Zbl 1005.54011)]. The authors show that \(T\)-FPS is topological, characterize initial lifts in \(T\)-FPS and define a functor from \(T\)-FPS to the category of fuzzy topological spaces which preserves initial lifts.
