The \(\mathbb{R}\)-linear conjugation problem for generalized analytic functions with noncompactly supported coefficients on open Riemann surfaces is considered. It is shown that the problem is \(n\)-normal and its index is calculated. The author also discusses the case of degenerating coefficients in the boundary condition.
