Versions for mixed affine surface area and mixed projection and centroid bodies are obtained of inequalities by Petty between affine surface area and the volume of the projection body and by Lutwak between affine surface area and the volume of the centroid body. A Blaschke-Santaló type inequality for mixed affine surface area is also derived.
