The authors study the convergence problem of the iterative scheme \(x_{n+1}=\lambda_{n+1}y+(1-\lambda_{n+1})T_{n+1}x_n\) for a family of infinitely many nonexpansive mappings \(T_1,T_2,\dots\) in a Hilbert space, establishing, under suitable conditions, the convergence of this iterative scheme to the nearest common fixed point of this family of nonnegative mappings. The results presented extend and improve some recent results.
